On March 11, 2019, SafeWise released its annual "California's 50 Safest Cities" for 2019. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes ranked #7 among the 50 safest cities in California.
SafeWise reviewed the 2017 FBI Unified Crime Report and population data to compile their report. SafeWise's evaluation is based on the number of reported violent crimes in each city.
