On March 10, the Civic Center Advisory Committee and Finance Advisory Committee will co-host a public workshop tilted “How Do We Pay For It? The Nuts and Bolts of Financing Capital Projects.” The hybrid in-person/virtual meeting will take place from 6-8 p.m. in McTaggart Hall at Fred Hesse Jr. Community Park and via Zoom. Virtual participation is highly encouraged.
Facilitated by Orion Fulton, Associate Principal at Arup, with over 20 years of experience, the workshop is intended to provide an overview of municipal project financing, funding, and delivery approaches, which will be relevant to a range of major City capital projects that will involve the input of the City Council, Planning Commission, and all advisory boards.
