The City of Rancho Palos Verdes extends its sympathy to all the families affected by the recent devastating land movement in Rolling Hills Estates. Our hearts go out to our neighbors who have lost their homes and possessions, and we stand ready to support the City of Rolling Hills Estates in any way we can. See info below on how to help those affected by the land movement.

The Rotary Club of Palos Verdes Peninsula has stepped forward to organize donation efforts for those who have been affected by the land movement in Rolling Hills Estates.

  • They are currently accepting check donations, which should be made out to the Palos Verdes Peninsula Rotary Foundation.
  • Please mail checks to: Palos Verdes Peninsula Rotary Foundation, Inc. 904 Silver Spur Road, #270, Rolling Hills Estates, CA  90274.
  • Please mention “Peartree Lane Relief Fund” on your check.
  • The EIN for tax purposes is 33--0435321.
  • The Rotary Club requests that all donors include an email address with their donation so they can forward donation letters appropriately. An online donation option is not available at this time.

Rotary Club President Julia Parton states: "Rotary’s international theme this year is to 'Create Hope in the World.' This theme of hope resonates strongly during challenging times for our community. As we face this challenge together, the Rotary Club of Palos Verdes Peninsula stands proudly, ready to assist and support those in need. The Rotary of Palos Verdes Peninsula members embody the spirit of service above self, stepping forward with compassion and determination to make a difference. I am so happy that we are here to support our community."

"Ever since our community learned their neighbors were in need, there has been an outpouring of offers to assist them. Sometimes, you need a helping hand to focus all those offers and create the best possible options," said Mayor Britt Huff. "On behalf of the entire City Council, we thank the Rotary Club of Palos Verdes Peninsula for their efforts to organize donations to the Peartree Lane Relief Fund.”
