Although the tropical storm has passed and weather alerts are no longer in effect, parks, beaches, and trails in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes remain closed on August 21. Parks will reopen on August 22, but beaches and trails within the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve may remain closed up to 48 hours after the last rainfall for public safety and to prevent further trail erosion damage.
