Please join the Lomita Sheriff’s Station on April 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lomita Park for a BBQ fundraiser honoring Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Okamoto, who was tragically killed in an off-duty traffic collision in the early morning hours of April 12.

Deputy Okamoto joined the Sheriff’s Department in 2017, and dedicated himself to serving the communities of Lomita, Rancho Palos Verdes, commitment to his friends and colleagues. He is survived by his grandmother, parents, and brother. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes is keeping his loved ones and his entire LASD family in our thoughts, and we will always remember his service to our community.
