RPV, FEMA and Cal OES Announce $42 Million Voluntary Property Buyout Program for Impacted Homes

On October 28, the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, FEMA, and Cal OES announced a $42 million voluntary buyout program for property owners in the Greater Portuguese Bend landslide area whose homes have been damaged or threatened by land movement.
