[ARCHIVED] RPV'S Free Document Shredding, Electronic Waste Roundup, and Free Mulch Giveaway

RPV Doc Shredding


Reminder- EDCO and the City of RPV are sponsoring a free document/paper shredding event on Saturday, October 13, 2018, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the RPV Civic Center (City Hall) in the over flow Parking lot area located at 30940 Hawthorne Boulevard.  Large certified shredding trucks will be at the event and all documents will be shredded on-site during the event.  This event is open for RPV residents (EDCO customers) only, so please bring proof of RPV residency.  Maximum 3 bankers size boxes (approx. size of 10x12x15), or paper bags per household.  No need to remove any staples or paper clips.  However, remove all papers from any metal 3-ring binders.  


EDCO will collect electronics waste (computers, TVs, printers, etc.) at the same time and place.  However, no household hazardous waste material (no paint, no expired medicine). Free mulch (self-serve, self-load, and self-haul) will be available for residents.  Bring your own shovel and cans for the mulch.  Maximum of three cans per vehicle. There will be a special event day traffic control plan.  Please obey all traffic signs; drive slowly and carefully.
