[ARCHIVED] Earth Month Recycling Events

  • RPV/EDCO’s Free Document Shredding Event is on Saturday, April 17th from 8 am to 11 am at RPV Civic Center/City Hall Overflow Parking Lot.  All shredding will be conducted by certified shredding trucks, stationed on-site during the event.  This event is for RPV residents only with a limit of 3 boxes per household.   Due to COVID safety precautions and maintaining proper social distancing, this event is exclusively for document shredding.  There will be no electronic waste collection or mulch giveaway.  If you have questions, please call EDCO at 310-540-2977.  Click on this link for more information: EDCO- RPV Document Shredding April 2021 

 

  • RPV/EDCO’s Spring Season’s City-wide Brush Clearing Event starts Saturday, April 17th for the Monday route customers and will continue for 4 more consecutive Saturdays.   Please help keep your property clear of excess brush, overgrown or dead shrubbery and trees.   • Peninsula-wide Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste Roundup is on Saturday, May 1st from 9 am to 3 pm at RPV Civic Center/City Yard.  Bring your unwanted or obsolete paint, automotive lubricants, used oil and batteries, expired medicine, used sharps, TVs, computers, printers, and microwaves to this event.  Click on these two links for more information: HHW- E waste Roundup May 2021  and https://www.lacsd.org/services/solidwaste/hhw_e_waste/default.asp
