[ARCHIVED] Palos Verdes Nature Preserve Shuttle Service

Shuttle Service

The City’s Palos Verdes Nature Preserve shuttle service is now available! Avoid the hassle of looking for street parking when visiting the Preserve by taking this free shuttle from City Hall.

Park in the City Hall parking lot at 30940 Hawthorne Boulevard, board the PV Transit shuttle and get off at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center, Abalone Cove, or the Portuguese Bend Reserve. Shuttle runs every 30 mins from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Friday-Sunday and on holidays. Dogs welcome! Please note that on Saturday, April 17, the shuttle will not start running until 12 p.m. due to the City's shredding event in the City Hall parking lot. The shuttle will not run on Saturday, May 1 due to the household hazardous waste/e-waste collection event at City Hall.

For more information, see FAQs.

This pilot program is offered by the City of Rancho Palos Verdes in partnership with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Transit Authority. The shuttle operates in full compliance with L.A. County COVID-19 safety protocols, with a current maximum of 12 passengers. If you have questions, please contact the Recreation and Parks Department at parks@rpvca.gov or 310-544-5260.

If you are a person with a disability and need an accommodation to participate in programs, services, activities and meetings, contact the City's ADA Coordinator/Risk Manager at 310-683-3157, adarequests@rpvca.gov, 30940 Hawthorne Blvd., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275, at least 48 hours in advance to request an auxiliary aid or accommodation.
