[ARCHIVED] Planning Commission Draft Housing Element Review October 12

October 12

On October 12, the Planning Commission will review the City of Rancho Palos Verdes Draft Housing Element, a document outlining ways the City can meet its state-required 6th Cycle Regional Housing Needs Assessment allocation of accommodating 647 housing units (including 8 units carried over from the 5th Cycle) in various income levels for the next planning period of 2021-2029.

The hybrid in-person/virtual meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in McTaggart Hall at Fred Hesse Jr. Community Park and via Zoom with a very limited number of in-person attendees and COVID-19 safety protocols in place. Virtual participation is highly encouraged. The meeting will be live-streamed on the City website and televised on RPVtv Cox 33/Frontier FiOS 38.

A staff report for this topic, including a copy of the Draft Housing Element, will be available on the City website at rpvca.gov/agendas. Please submit your comments to the Planning Commission in advance of the meeting by emailing them to pc@rpvca.gov. If you would like to provide comments during the meeting or leave a pre-recorded voice message, please complete a form at rpvca.gov/participate.
