[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Update: City Hall Open by Appointment Only

COVID-19 Update

Due to the ongoing increase in transmission of COVID-19 in Los Angeles County associated with the circulation of the Omicron variant, Rancho Palos Verdes City Hall will be open to the public by appointment only during regular business hours through at least January 31, 2022, with services available by telephone, email, and online, and some staff working remotely. Virtual appointments are strongly encouraged. To schedule an appointment, visit the Staff Directory on the City website to find the appropriate department. If you schedule an in-person appointment, you must wear a mask and follow all posted COVID-19 safety protocols during your visit. No more than one visitor and one employee are allowed at a public counter or in the main lobby at a time.

City Hall is located at 30940 Hawthorne Boulevard. Regular business hours are 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday. The main phone line is 310-544-5200.

The Point Vicente Interpretive Center museum and gift shop remain closed to the public through at least January 31.

The City Council and Planning Commission continue to meet in a hybrid in-person/virtual format. However, public participation will be limited to virtual-only through at least January 31, with only Council and Commission members and a very limited number of City staff attending in person with safety protocols in place. To watch a City Council or Planning Commission meeting live, visit rpvca.gov or tune into Cox 33/FiOS 38 at their regularly scheduled times. To participate in public comment virtually or to leave a pre-recorded voice message, complete a form at rpvca.gov/participate. All other advisory board meetings continue to be held in a virtual-only format.

If you are a person with a disability and need an accommodation to participate in programs, services, activities and meetings, contact the City's ADA Coordinator/Risk Manager at 310-683-3157, adarequests@rpvca.gov, 30940 Hawthorne Blvd., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275, at least 48 hours in advance to request an auxiliary aid or accommodation.
