[ARCHIVED] Memorial Service for Fallen Firefighter Jonathan Flagler

Flagler Memorial

On January 21 at 10 a.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) will host a memorial service in honor of Firefighter Jonathan Flagler, who sustained fatal injuries while engaged in firefighting operations at a single-family residence in Rancho Palos Verdes on January 6, 2022.

Family, friends, and colleagues will gather for a memorial service at Cottonwood Church in Los Alamitos to remember Firefighter Flagler, who dedicated more than 21 years of faithful service to the community. Firefighter Flagler is survived by his wife Jenny and their two sons, Brody and Jack.

Firefighter Flagler was a devoted husband, father, uncle, friend, and hero. He was a highly respected and esteemed LACoFD firefighter who truly embodied the department's core values of courage, caring, commitment, community, integrity, and teamwork while on- and off-the job. Firefighter Flagler will be tremendously missed by all of us – and we will never forget him.

Firefighter Flagler's memorial service will be streamed live on the LACoFD's Facebook page at: facebook.com/LACoFD
