On August 16, a representative from the California Department of Insurance will give a presentation to the City Council about residential fire insurance, including an update on the department’s Safer from Wildfires framework which provides a list of achievable, effective actions to help homeowners help reduce the risk of wildfire. The hybrid in-person/virtual meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in McTaggart Hall at Fred Hesse Jr. Community Park and via Zoom. The meeting will be live-streamed on the City website and televised on RPVtv Cox 33/Frontier FiOS 38.
