The City is pleased to announce the selection of Lincoln Lo as Deputy Director of Public Works!
Mr. Lo started this week and joins the City from the Port of Long Beach, where he was a Deputy Chief Harbor Engineer for 10 years and oversaw the construction of the port’s headquarters at the new Long Beach Civic Center. He brings 21 years of experience in engineering and construction, working for private firms before joining the City of Long Beach in 2009 as a Civil Engineer and later becoming an Assistant City Engineer.
Mr. Lo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from UC Berkeley. He is a licensed civil engineer in the State of California, a Certified Construction Manager, an Envision Sustainability Professional, and has Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation.
In his new role, Mr. Lo will bring his expertise to various Public Works programs and capital projects, including the areas of transportation, facilities, and environmental programs.
