The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District (PVPUSD) advises that, in honor of the 70th anniversary of the breaking of the sound barrier, there will be a low-altitude military flyover at schools throughout Southern California on Friday, October 13th, including local PVPUSD campuses. The flyover is expected to be at about midday over the following Peninsula schools:
- Dapplegray
- Soleado
- Peninsula High
- Vista Grande
- Lunada Bay
