[ARCHIVED] Hawthorne Boulevard Closed

TRAFFIC-ALERT (400x250)

BRUSH FIRE - Crest RD/Hawthorne Bl., RPV (T-56) Unit 173A responded to the location regarding a brush fire. Deputies at the scene evacuated 4-5 residences while LA County Fire Engine #53 under the command of Captain Avila along with a water drop from an LA County Fire Helicopter extinguished the fire. Approximately 1/4 of an acre of dry brush burned.
