Between May 30th and June 1st, soil investigations were conducted at the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District’s Ladera Linda (AKA Portuguese Bend) Fields, and the results of these investigations have been analyzed. The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) will hold a public meeting to present the findings of DTSC’s Preliminary Endangerment Assessment (PEA) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 16th in the Sunset Room at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center, located at 31501 Palos Verdes Dr. W., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
