On January 19th, the City was notified that the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) had completed its review of public comments on the Draft Preliminary Endangerment Assessment (PEA) for the school district’s Ladera Linda Fields site. DTSC has now issued the Final PEA, and has confirmed its determination that the site “does not pose a significant risk to human health and the environment under any land use,” and that “no further action is required with respect to additional investigation or remediation of hazardous substances at the site.” Please click the link below to review the DTSC response to comments and related documents.
