Emergency Helicopter Landing at Point Vicente Interpretive Center

Please be advised that at approximately 2 p.m., a helicopter made an emergency landing for unknown reasons on the grass in front of the Point Vicente Interpretive Center on Palos Verdes Drive West. No injuries were reported. City Staff understands this was a private helicopter and unrelated to SCE’s helicopter inspections of power lines. Staff will provide more information when it becomes available.
