Conservation Needed Earlier in Day; Flex Alert Issued for 2-9 p.m.

The California Independent System Operator (ISO) has issued a statewide Flex Alert today, August 19, calling on consumers to voluntarily reduce electricity usage between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m., which is earlier than a typical Flex Alert.
