Palos Verdes Marine Protected Area Community Compliance Forum September 16

Join the Los Angeles County Marine Protected Area (MPA) Collaborative, local enforcement officers and community members for a virtual forum September 16 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. to discuss issues affecting compliance of MPA rules in Rancho Palos Verdes and local solutions.

The MPA Collaborative is made up of marine scientists, conservation groups, government agencies, members of the fishing community and other stakeholders who develop ways to bring awareness to four state-designated MPAs off the Los Angeles County coast (including Abalone Cove and Point Vicente), and regulations banning or limiting fishing activity within them.
