Cal Water Update: Finishing Work on Crest Road Near Crenshaw Boulevard

Please see the following update from Cal Water regarding roadwork on Crest Road near Crenshaw Boulevard starting as early as Monday, September 21:

Dear Residents,

We hope this finds you safe and healthy. We’re reaching out to provide you with an update on California Water Service’s (Cal Water) Palos Verdes Peninsula Water Reliability Project.
 
As part of the 30-day acceptance period, crews have been closely monitoring the new drinking water pipeline and pump station to ensure that it continues to operate optimally. Based on this monitoring, we’ve determined that some finishing work is needed near the intersection of Crest Road and Crenshaw Boulevard that will require temporary traffic control.
 
Work will take place as early as Monday, September 21, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. There will be temporary, partial lane closures on Crest Road to facilitate work, but vehicles will be able to travel in each direction at all times. Please expect delays and use alternate routes, where possible.
