Heat Advisory Issued for September 29 - October 1
The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory from 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, through 8 p.m. Thursday, October 1, with high temperatures in the
mid-80s to mid-90s forecasted in coastal areas. Critical fire weather conditions are likely Monday, then elevated to near critical fire weather conditions through Friday.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.
