National Coffee with a Cop Day is a day dedicated to encouraging communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public.
It's one of the ways the cities of Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates and Rolling Hills are observing National Night Out, a nationwide campaign that aims to bring together citizens and law enforcement. Typically held on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out will be recognized on October 6 this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Join us in observing National Night Out by participating in the following:
- Tuesday, October 6: Turn your porch lights on in support of all first responders and community partnerships.
- Wednesday, October 7: Join us for National Coffee with a Cop Day virtually via Zoom at 10 a.m.
- Thursday, October 8: Thank our local fire and sheriff's station personnel by sending thank you letters to each station.
