Heat Advisory Issued for October 13-16
The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory from 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, through 5 p.m. Thursday, October 16, with daytime high temperatures of 90 to 95 degrees forecasted for Los Angeles County, and elevated locally critical fire weather conditions.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.
