Portuguese Bend Landslide Mitigation Project-Notice of Preparation of an EIR
Pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the City of Rancho Palos Verdes will prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed Portuguese Bend Landslide Mitigation Project.
The proposed project involves a series of recommended mitigation measures for the landslide, which began moving in 1956 and has resulted in significant infrastructure damage to homes, utilities, and roadways.
The City released the Initial Study that describes issues to be addressed in the project EIR.
