Red Flag Warning Issued for October 15-16
UPDATE: The National Weather Service has upgraded a Fire Weather Watch to a Red Flag Warning that will be in effect from 6 a.m. Friday, October 15, to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 16.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Use extreme caution with potential fire ignition sources. Residents are urged to assemble their emergency supply kit and know your evacuation route.
