Mayor's Honoree: Mrs. Heather Myrick

Last night, the City Council proudly recognized the work of Heather Myrick.

Mrs. Myrick is a teacher at Peninsula High School who developed the Service Learning Leadership program, which gives students the opportunity to explore leadership through volunteering.  The City thanks Mrs. Myrick for her profound impact on the futures of so many students, inspiring them to be a force for positive change in the world, and for her dedication to education and service.
