City Council Meeting Highlights
Last night, May 17, the City Council voted to pause the City’s humane peafowl trapping program in 2022 until a new count of peacocks and peahens is conducted in 2023.
The Council also reviewed the preliminary 2022-23 City budget, and voted to implement various short-term traffic calming measures on Hawthorne Boulevard near Vallon Drive, while monitoring driving patterns and evaluating long-term strategies.
