Third Round of Free At-Home COVID-19 Tests from the Federal Government Now Available
The U.S. government is offering American households a third set free rapid antigen COVID tests sent via USPS (the third set contains eight tests, bringing the overall maximum to 16 tests per household). If you already ordered your first or second set, order your next today at COVIDtests.gov. Orders will ship free, usually in 7-12 days. Learn more at: covidtests.gov/faq
If you have difficulty accessing the internet or need additional support placing an order, you can call 1-800-232-0233 (TTY 1-888-720-7489) to get help in English, Spanish, and more than 150 other languages – 8 a.m. to midnight ET, 7 days a week.
The Disability Information and Access Line (DIAL) is also available to specifically help people with disabilities place their orders. To get help, call 1-888-677-1199, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, or email DIAL@usaginganddisability.org.
