Update: 12:20 pm: Traffic light outages have occurred at multiple intersections along Hawthorne Boulevard and surrounding areas as a result of the current power outage. Repairs are underway with a completion time to be determined.

The City is aware of a power outage reported just after 10 a.m. within the City of Palos Verdes Estates and surrounding Peninsula area. Southern California Edison (SCE) reports the outage is affecting 19,728 customers.
