Traffic Alert: PCH/Hawthorne Blvd. Improvement Project
The City of Torrance continues to perform work at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Hawthorne Boulevard, with upcoming lane closures starting September 16 at 8pm, as outlined below. Seek alternate routes.
Friday, September 16, 8:00 PM through Monday, September 19, 5:00 AM:
- Through traffic will be reduced from 3 lanes to 1 lane in all directions
- Left- and right-turns will be prohibited in all directions
- Access to Neece Ave north of PCH will be prohibited
Friday, September 23, 8:00 PM through Monday, September 26, 5:00 AM:- Through traffic will be reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in all directions
- Traffic signal will be on 4-way flashing RED mode
- Torrance Police Department will assist with directing traffic
Ongoing through October 2022:- Through lanes reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in all directions
- Left turns from NB and SB Hawthorne Blvd reduced from 2 lanes to 1 lane
