Smoke Visible from Eastview Area

Please be advised that smoke is visible from the Eastview area due to a grass fire in Harbor Park in the City of Los Angeles.  The City will continue to monitor the event.
 
As of 6:01pm, the Los Angeles Fire Department reports:
“1198 W Anaheim St; https://bit.ly/3Cnu2r0; Wilmington; The fire is estimated at 5 acres with light wind conditions. The smoke plume will be visible for an extended time because of the type of fuel burning (marsh reeds) and the difficulty in reaching the fire’s edge. Additional engines due to the access challenge and the need for water shuttles to provide the water supply. There are no structures threatened. Firefighters will be working this fire into the evening. There are no injuries reported.”
