City Council Meeting HighlightsLast night, the City Council approved an after-the-fact Coastal Permit for a Neighborhood Permit Parking Program in the Community of Abalone Cove. The Council also heard a request from the Palos Verdes Historical Society to find a potential location for a future museum housing its collection of historical artifacts. The Council directed City staff to study the Ken Dyda Civic Center and Lower Point Vicente as potential park sites that could accommodate the proposed 5,000-square-foot museum. Staff will also research City maintenance and staffing costs for the privately funded museum, solicit community feedback, and report back in a few months. For all City Council actions from the meeting, watch video at rpvca.gov/agendas.
