City Council Meeting Highlights

At last night’s City Council meeting, City founder and outgoing Councilmember Ken Dyda was recognized for his 50 years of service to RPV before Dave Bradley, Barbara Ferraro, and Paul Seo were sworn into their new terms. Barbara Ferraro was selected as Mayor and John Cruikshank as Mayor Pro Tem.

The Council also approved revised plans for fencing and foliage along the ocean-facing side of Ladera Linda Community Park, including lowering the existing fence to 42 inches; planting vine, coastal sage scrub and/or other native plants; installing a solid 42-inch barrier adjacent to the walking paths; and eliminating a previously planned 6-foot chain link fence along the slope.
