Announcing the RPV 50th Anniversary Celebration Art Contest

RPV residents and K-12 students on the Peninsula are invited to submit artwork to commemorate the City's 50th Anniversary Celebration! First prize winners will have their artwork displayed on the cover of the City's seasonal Recreation and Activity Guide. Second and third place winners will receive a 50th Anniversary tote bag with souvenirs inside. All qualifying submissions will be displayed on the City's 50th Anniversary website, with winners featured prominently.

Contest Rules

Submissions are open to RPV residents and K-12 students on the Peninsula (K-12 Peninsula students are not required to reside in RPV). The subject matter must be related to Rancho Palos Verdes landmarks, points of interest, or significant/historical events.

Contest Age Categories

• Kindergarten-8th grade
• 9th grade-12th grade
• Adults 18 years or Older

2D artwork only; example: pencil, paints, markers, charcoal, pastels, digital art etc.

No photography pieces, please.
