City Council Meeting Highlights
Last night, the City Council received an update on the City’s Housing Element, which outlines ways the City can meet its state-required target of accommodating 647 new housing units in various income levels. The City anticipates holding public hearings in the coming months regarding rezoning sites for potential housing. The Council also selected a name for the City’s future nonprofit foundation: the RPV Community Foundation. The foundation will accept philanthropic donations to alleviate costs burdened by the City for capital projects and support programming to enrich the quality of life in RPV.
