City Council Meeting Highlights

On June 20, the City Council approved the final City budget and City Council Goals for 2023-24. Be sure to check the City website in the coming weeks for the Budget in Brief, an easy-to-read summary of the City’s $38.9 million balanced budget and $4.9 million Capital Improvement Program. The City remains fiscally strong with healthy reserves.

The Council also approved a $7.8 million Sheriff’s Department contract for the next fiscal year, directing City staff to look into cost saving opportunities while maintaining sheriff’s services.
