City Council Meeting Highlights

Highlights from the July 18 City Council meeting:

• The City Council decided to create a Youth Advisory Council that will be made up of teens who will discuss and advise the City Council on matters pertaining to youth in RPV. Stay tuned for information on how to apply. 
• The Council did not take a position on the Taxpayer Protection and Government Accountability Act, but opted to have the Legislative Subcommittee work with City staff on drafting a letter to the Governor advocating for government financial transparency. The full Council will consider sending the letter at a future meeting.
