However, please note that the information contained in these reports is subject to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's reporting protocols. As a result, some details related to ongoing investigations may not be included.

Accident and Road Closure

Intersection of Hawthorne and Crest

We wanted to inform you about a recent incident at the Hawthorne/Crest intersection. There has been a serious accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.

As a result, the southbound lane of Hawthorne Avenue from Crest is currently closed to facilitate a thorough traffic accident investigation.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the situation and ensure the safety of everyone involved. Please consider using alternate routes if you had plans to travel through this area.
