The Lomita Sheriff's Station produces a weekly crime report summary that includes information about reported crimes and arrests for the areas served by the Lomita Sheriff's Station, including the City of Rancho Palos Verdes.

Peninsula Public Safety and Regional Contract Law Committee Meetings

This Thursday, November 9, 2023 the Peninsula Public Safety Committee and the Regional Contract Law Committee will meet to discuss public safety on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.  You  may view the upcoming agenda  and view an archive of the most recent agendas and minutes for this committee.  The committee is comprised of city council members and staff from each of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Cities along with our Public Safety Partners.  This important committee works collaboratively to find regional solutions to pressing public safety needs in our community.

Sign Up: Review and sign the Acknowledgment of Program Terms and Release of Liability (PDF).

  1. Complete Check Out 
  2. Schedule convenient Pick-Up time at RPV City Hall by emailing PublicSafety@rpvca.gov.
  3. Set Up: Download the Ring app and set up your account before picking up your camera.
  4. Use with Ease: Place the camera indoors and enjoy enhanced security at home!
  5. Return Rental Cameras: All cameras must be returned to City Hall within 30 days. Need more time? Contact PublicSafety@rpvca.gov before the 30-day period ends to extend your rental.
