Jan 3: "Inspirational Thoughts for the New Year"
Local inventor, teacher, and entrepreneur Derek Gable shares his ideas for making life fun and more rewarding in 2024. Derek gives many life experiences, attitudes, and perspectives to enhance chances of both success and happiness at any age.
Jan 10: "Consumer Protection & Guidance Against Financial Fraud" Jackie Wiley, Education and Outreach Coordinator, CA Dept. of Financial Protection and Innovation, will discuss safeguards against financial frauds, shopping scams, risks in the marketplace, and protecting your personal data.
Jan 17: "Astronomical Research" Jeff Rich, astronomer and outreach coordinator, Observatories of the Carnegie Institute for Science, will discuss his work studying the galaxies of the nearby universe.
Jan 24: "Self-Defense for Seniors" Brian Rauchbach, Elite Mixed Martial Arts Training Center, will give tips on practical self-defense and safety tactics for seniors and all ages.
Jan 31: "Rolling Hills Estates Issues Update" RHE City manager, Greg Grammer, will discuss issues confronting the city in 2024 and upcoming community events.
