Following a major disaster, first responders may not be able to fully meet the demand. Neighbors will have to rely on each other to meet immediate life saving and sustaining needs.

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a government/community resource that provides basic training in disaster preparedness necessary to help you help your family, your neighborhood, and your community in a disaster. 

Join CERT on January 25 at 7 p.m. at Hesse Park for its first meeting since the pandemic. Learn about this important volunteer organization, how to get involved, and share your ideas for the future.
