A pile of leaves and tree trimmings fills a green waste bin. A headline says Find Your Brush Clearing Day. Body text says If your regular collection day is Monday, your brush clearing day is complete. If it is Tuesday, it is complete. If it is Wednesday, it is complete. If it is Thursday, it is complete. If it is Friday, it is Saturday, May 4.

There's one Saturday left in EDCO's spring brush clearing event!

On May 4, EDCO will pick up excess green waste (e.g. brush, shrubs, hedges, tree branches, and bushes) along the Friday trash route in the City of RPV, the final pickup day in the spring brush clearing event. This is a great opportunity to help prevent brush fires and clear your property before the June 1 L.A. County brush clearing deadline.

Acceptable green waste may be in tied bundles, in EDCO carts, and/or in other personal cans. Greens placed in plastic bags will be accepted, however the use of plastic bags is discouraged due to possible contamination issues at the processing facilities. Loose material, trash or construction and demolition material will not be collected.
