Local Emergency Declaration Renewal Discussion May 7

Reminder: Tomorrow night, May 7, the City Council will consider extending the City’s local emergency declaration in the landslide complex through July 6, 2024, and construction contracts for two emergency dewatering wells that will remove water that is trapped underground and contributing to movement. 

The Council will also receive updates on the latest monitoring data, trail conditions, and plans to regrade the “ski jump” on Palos Verdes Drive South.
