  • Purchase or make an emergency kit (check the “Ready! Set! Go!” Personal Wildfire Action Plan for what to include in it).
  • Make an evacuation plan and practice it with your family.
PVPready.gov is shown on the screen of a smartphone. A headline says How to Use Your Zone. Become familiar with your evacuation zone at PVPready.gov. Subheads say Find Your Zone, View Zone Info, Locate Routes, Find Your Way, and Learn Exits.
  • Know Your Zone. Get to know the Peninsula's evacuation readiness platform at PVPready.gov. Find your zone, write it down, and keep it somewhere that’s easy to find in an emergency. During an emergency, such as a wildfire or flood, the website will show which zones are under evacuation the moment an order is issued by authorities.
