Traffic Alert: Hawthorne Blvd Overnight Closure from Blackhorse Rd to Silver Spur Rd August 7-8

A Southern California Edison contractor will perform a pole replacement requiring the closure of southbound Hawthorne Boulevard from Blackhorse Road to Silver Spur Road from approximately 8 p.m. tonight, August 7, through 6 a.m. on August 8. Southbound traffic will be diverted at Blackhorse Road. Northbound Hawthorne Boulevard will be reduced to one lane north of Indian Peak Road and continue just north of Silver Spur Road. Expect delays and consider an alternate route. If you must drive through this area during this time, please proceed slowly, yield to workers and obey traffic control at the site.
