City Council Meeting Tonight

Don’t miss tonight’s City Council meeting, February 4, 2025, at 7 p.m.

Meeting topic highlights include:

  • Potentially extending the temporary prohibition of bicycles and motorcycles along Palos Verdes Drive South in the Portuguese Bend landslide area for 60 days. 
  • An update on the latest land movement data and the City’s remediation and winterization efforts. 
  • The Abalone Cove Landslide Abatement District’s proposed Deep Dewatering Plan. Extending the local emergency declarations in the landslide area.
  • An update on the launch of the City’s new Public Safety Division.
  • Adopting the 2025 Legislative Platform, which outlines policy positions on current issues which directly or indirectly impact the City.

The meeting will take place on February 4, 2025, at 7 p.m. in McTaggart Hall at Hesse Park and via Zoom. Watch live on RPVtv’s YouTube channel, at rpvca.gov, or on Cox 33/FiOS 38.
