City Council Meeting Agenda Now Available

The agenda for the August 5, 2025 City Council meeting is now available at rpvca.gov/agendas.

Meeting topic highlights include:

Considering lowering the speed limit along the stretch of Palos Verdes Drive East known as the “Switchbacks” from 40 mph to 35 mph.
Proposed Municipal Code amendments that would permanently prohibit new construction in the landslide complex.
Potentially initiating the process to form a new geological hazard abatement district to help mitigate the Portuguese Bend Landslide, the largest of RPV’s ancient landslides.
