Flood Watch Issued for December 23-25

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch across Los Angeles County, including Rancho Palos Verdes from 4 p.m. on December 23rd to 10 p.m. on December 25, 2025. A Flood Watch is issued when conditions are favorable for flooding. It does not mean flooding will occur, but it is possible.

Be prepared.

• Do not walk, swim or drive through flood waters. Turn around, don’t drown! 
• Stay safe indoors when possible. 
• Avoid non-essential travel.
